The Forum Supports Launch of e-learning on LGBT Inclusion
For the past 18 months, the Forum has been supporting the development of an e-learning platform for individuals and organisations to learn about LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace.
The Forum been supporting Belgian NGO, Çavaria, with the development and launch of an e-learning platform for individuals and organisations to learn about LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace. The e-learning, available in both English and Flemish, provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of how inclusion in the workplace supports organisations in achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) as set by the United Nations. The Forum was proud to author a case study on the South African context for LGBT people so that learners can appreciate the situation faced by LGBT people across the world.
The e-learning was launched in April 2021 and was supported by a series of “lunch and learn” seminars. Luke Andrews and Farai Morobane, Directors of the Forum, gave a well-received presentation to a European audience on the local context for LGBT+ people and the role of the South African Workplace Equality Index (SAWEI) in supporting inclusion in South Africa.
